HotDogs, Hashbrowns, Salads, Fresh Orange and Chocolate Milk...our meal for tonite's dinner...;) Rice kena ban for today...hehe...hari2 makan nasi pun leh muak kan, so just for a change, kita makan & minum everything listed above...:) Though simple, they r really filling...especially those hotdogs...kalau home-cooked memang sedap kan! hehehe...( am I praising myself indirectly??? ) :)) Worait, for now layan jer la gambar2 dinner kita tadi erk! My late grandma used to cook this curry in a clay wok...Uishhhh...tastes very good, seriously... Being in a modern world, we've adapted to a new living style...so cooking in clay woks is very rare except in some villages or maybe few mothers still use clay pots to cook...;) Today, I cooked this curry using a non-stick wok only lah! hehe...no clay woks ah...tastes good still though no fight to my grandma's. I called up my mum this morning to refresh the recipe...hehe, actually I've forgotten the method of cooking it...so she helped me over the phone while I jotted it down...:) Worait...here's the recipe! Some may already know how to cook this curry...for some who have not tried this curry before...why not give a try..:)) Ingredients :- (A) 800 gm large Prawns ~ de-shelled n cleaned ( may use shelled ones too) 1 tsp fenugreek seeds 4 shallots ~ sliced 3 cloves garlic ~ crushed 1 inch ginger ~ chopped 1 onion ~ sliced 2 green chillies ~ sliced 1 red chilli ~ slice...

Another fried chicken recipe ;;) Our side dish to our Fried MeeHoon last nite... ;) Forgot to take the noodles pic though...but nvm la...it's just the same Love used to do...:) This fried chicken was a last minute addition coz Rishie asked for it...He's got the same taste like Mummy! always want some spicy side dish! :)) Okey, here's the recipe ya! Simple but tastes gud! ;)) Ingredients :- 1/2 chicken ~ cleaned n cut into medium size 2 tbsp of ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp of shallots paste 2 tbsp of chilli powder ~ adjust accordingly 1 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tsp black pepper powder 1/2 tsp white pepper powder 1/3 tsp corriander powder 1 egg beaten salt to taste few stalks of curry leaves oil to fry Cooking methods :- In a bowl, mix chicken with all the ingredients above except curry leaves n oil. Marinate for 30minutes... Heat oil in wok, deep-fry the chicken till cooked. Add the curry leaves when chicken is half cooked. Serve Hot!

Hi everyone...hru all there??? :) Anyways, yest Love tak masak for lunch, gi tapau jer. For dinner plak, Love buat nasi goreng simple yang tak cukup bahan...tak posing la...keluar dari kuali jer dah kena ngap! :)) This morning after sent Rishie to tadika, Love dan Ashika gi tesco...kena stock up household stuffs...that means, hari nih pun tak masak...might cook something for dinner tonite...;) Ashika behaved sooooo well in Tesco today...cuma ramai sgt peminat around...from Tesco staffs to customers kept greeting her...hehe, Ashika pun happy sesangat dpt keluar, tgk2 orang...hahaha! Only thing, Love had to keep an eye on her all the time masa shopping...gotto be real alert la kan if we go out with kids...they r the first priority! ;) Okey la...here r some pics of Ashika in Tesco...layaaaaaaan!!! ;)) Serious Ashika...;)

Simple menu for today...I cooked Sambal Ikan Bilis after such a long time! Still remember how I burnt the sambal when I did it the first time after marriage! Awwwww! Now it's funny...:)) Actual idea was to do Nasi Lemak (Coconut Rice), but I'm running out of screwpine leaves! hehe. So, plain rice will do la erk! But I still boiled 2 eggs and sliced some cucumbers as side dish...Oooh Yummy!!! ;) I'm sure everyone knows how to cook Sambal Ikan Bilis right??? My recipe is nothing special but I added a stalk of lemongrass... Anyways, I'll still share the recipe...just incase any newbies around, k! ;)) Here U r! Ingredients :- 1 cup of cleaned anchovies 10 pcs dried chillis * (soak in hot water first, drained) 5 shallots * 3 cloves of garlic * 1 cm shrimp paste ( belacan ) * 1 large onion ~ sliced into rings 1 stalk of lemongrass ~ slightly crushed ( optional ) 2 tbsp of tamarind juice ( adjust to ur taste ) sufficient amount of water ~ ( add more if u prefer the samb...

Nak buat pe, hari tuh Love gi tesco...banyak stock yang tidak diupdate...Ayam jer berlonggok...so, Love belilah ayam byk2! ;) Today memang plan nak buat Sambal Ayam Serai nih.. kebetulannya, my younger sis n mum called nak dtg ke umah Love...nak visit Rishie n Ashika. My sis mintak Love buat sambal ayam gak, order buat pedas2 lagik...hahaaa!! Love pun dah lama tak masak pedas2 pun...so this time tambah jer la cili padi lebih2 sikit...hihi...:)) Anyways, here's the recipe for Sambal Ayam Serai...kalau ada yang berminat leh try erk! ;) resipinya just same like other's sambal gak...cuma Love add serai lebih2.. suka aromanya! Bahan2nya :- 1 ekor ayam ~ dibersihkan dan dipotong ikut suka (digaul bersama sedikit serbuk kunyit dan garam) 15-20 tangkai cili kering * ~ dididihkan bersama air dan garam terlebih dahulu 5 biji bawang merah * 3 ulas bawang putih * 1 cm halia * 1 biji bawang besar * 2 batang serai * 2 cm kunyit h...

Bahan2nya :- 4 biji telur ayam ~ dipukul bersama sedikit garam dan digoreng dadar terlebih dahulu (dipotong 6) 3 ulas bawang putih ~ diketuk 1 cm halia ~ dicincang 1 bawang besar ~ dihiris 2 biji cili hijau ~ dihiris 1 tangkai daun kari sedikit halba campuran 2 biji ubi kentang ~ saiz sederhana (dipotong 4) 1 biji tomato ~ dipotong 4 2 sb serbuk kari ikan 1 sb serbuk cili 1/2 serbuk kunyit sedikit jus asam jawa 1.5 cawan air ~ ikut suka (Love suka klu kari pekat) garam secukup rasa minyak masak Cara2 memasaknya :- Panaskan minyak dlm kuali. Love remember ada yang mintak resipi kat shoutmix gak...sorry for late update erk! :) Bahan2nya :- 250gm kacang buncis ~ potong slantwise 1 batang carrot ~ dihiris 2 ketul hati ayam ~ potong dadu (nak letak lebih pun boleh) 4 biji bawang merah ~ dihiris 3 ulas bawang putih ~ dicincang 2 cm halia ~ dicincang 1 biji cili hijau ~ dihiris 1 biji cili merah ~ dihiris 3 sb sos tiram 1.5 sb kicap manis sedikit air garam secukupnya minyak masak Cara2 memasaknya :- Panaskan minyak dlm kuali. Anyone missed Love here??? hihihi :) Anyways, Diwali this year was a great one eventhough we didn't do much at home...no open house coz we only knew my hubby will be around in the last minute...;) So, like I said before, we jalan2 cari makan jer la! kihkihkih! Once a while kena rasa masakan orang lain gak kan! :)) On Diwali eve, we went to parent's hse...for some prayers...;) had makan after that... On Diwali day plak, we went again to parent's open house...phew mcm2 ada! but unfortunately Love unable to snap any pics...ramai guests...camera pun terlupa plak! adeyyy! :) My mum cooked so many dishes...phew! from Briyani to mutton...chicken, mix vege...n etc etc! ;)) Love tapau some cookies jer from her...the pics r below! 2nd Diwali day, we went to my eldest sis open hse...phewwww...ramai gak guests there...dishes were delicious!
