12~12~12 ~> Ashika's Orientation Day 1 at Smart Reader Kids :)

It's time for Ashika to move on to another level, a kindergarten kid. As decided, we enrolled her to Smart Reader Kids Bandar Bukit Tinggi, the same kindie her brother Rishie went to from 2009-2010.

Her session will commence in January 2013 but the orientation started today and will go on for 3 days until Friday. I was little worried on how my girl will cope with the new phase in her life. I managed to put up a strong face infront of her giving her all the support I could, keeping my Hubby in thoughts. I know it would be hard for my Hubby to see his little girl going to school, but that's life...haha!

She became a bit shy and reluctant once we reached there. She remained silent for the first 10 minutes but somehow was okay once they entered the classroom. I was so afraid that she would start crying looking at some other kids who constantly cried during the orientation. Thank God she did not! The teachers did good job in keeping the kids occupied and most importantly to feel at home.

Ashika amazed me with her BIG smile as I walked to her classroom to take her back. Yay, bravo Ashika! Love you da!  <3

Too bad I didn't carry along our Dslr / Lumix....my Galaxy Note does not take good indoor pics...sigh!

Some of the teachers who were teaching during Rishie's time are still around. They are Ms. Lee, Ms. Vani, Puan Farah and Ms. Divya. Their current principal is the ever smiling Ms Jackie, who replaced Ms Kalaichelvi, the former principal. I trust my daughter is in good hands. I knew how Rishie enjoyed his kindie years and became very close to his teachers.

We infact kept in touch with Ms Lee and Ms Vani all these while. They are just wonderful :)

Anyways, these are my personal thoughts about the center. I would definitely recommend them to anyone, but it depends on individual likes. You can view all my posts on this center when Rishie was there and that showed we were truly happy and satisfied with their programmes. Rishie excelled really well and that continued till date.

Overall, it was a feel good day....12~12~12 is definitely a special one for us! Now, gearing up for Orientation Day 2....tomorrow! ;)
