Eggless Condensed Milk Chocolate Cake...♥

This is one cake I would recommend everyone to try on. It's so easy to prepare and the result is definitely satisfying. I never make the choc ganache as we had the cake with Hershey's Chocolate and Strawberry syrup. Liked the crusty top and edge :)

A bookmarked recipe from Nithi's space. Feel free to drop by her awesome and mouthwatering blog. Her food(o)graphy speaks more! Thanks Nithi for sharing this yummy recipe and congratulations on your blog's 3rd Anniversary :)

Was too lazy to get ready my KA, thus I just used a wooden spatula to mix the batter. Stir in one direction only ;)

EGGLESS CONDENSED MILK CHOCOLATE CAKE
adapted from :~ Nithya of 4thsensecooking

Ingredients :~
  • 180gm All purpose flour
  • 70gm Cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 can (400ml) Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 100gm Melted butter
  • 180ml water ( I add choc milk )

Method :~
  1. Sieve flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and soda together into the mixing bowl.
  2. Add melted butter, condensed milk and water ( choc milk).
  3. Beat until well mixed. The batter would be in pouring consistency.  ( I just used a wooden spatula to mix the batter )
  4. Bake at 180°C for 40 mins or until skewer comes out clean.

  1. Hi Love,

Thank you for sharing this eggless cake recipe. I have tried one other moist eggless cake recipe from your blog and it was super duper yummy. I saw this on 4th sense's blog, but I could not figure out how 6 tbsp flour is equal to 180g? How do you convert it?

If you have eggless vanilla cake recipe, please do share with us.

    Regards,
    Sally

Your cake reminds me how I used to eggless baking when Mikael was young and allergy to eggs. I always think that eggless cake taste as good as any cake with eggs. Maybe I need to start reminding myself again :)

  33. Hi Love,

There seems to be 2 blogs with the same name, ie, 4th sense cooking. One is the blog where you found this eggless condensed milk cake. The other is - http://www.4thsensecooking.com/

This is where I found the 6tbsp flour. I usually browse through this web and earlier when i saw the 4thsense.blogspot.com, i thought you are referring to the 4thsense.com

    Regards,
    Sally

    1. Hello Sally, can you give me the exact link where you found the 6tbsp flour? I copied this recipe from 4thsensecooking.com, ie, http://www.4thsensecooking.com/2012/03/eggless-condensed-milk-chocolate-cake.html

The blogspot takes me to an unknown blog, not a food blog.

    1. Hi Kak Mimi, hehe actual recipe guna mixer kak. Tapi ada few eggless cakes yang love buat before this tak guna mixer. So yang ni pun love tak guna mixer. Memang senang, cuma kena kacau one direction je. Kalau kacau clockwise, keep doing the same.

  37. Hi Love,

The correct link from where I found the 6 tbsp flour is http://4thsensecooking.blogspot.com She made the same cake, but it was shown as 6tbsp flour. the cake was frosted with chocolate ganache. When I posted my comment here last week, I could see the blog. This morning when I search it, it shows not available anymore.

I am not sure what is happening, but if i come across it again I'll give you a buzz.

  45. Hi, the cake looks delicious and I don't want to make a mistake... You say that you add choc milk to the 180 ml of water, do you mean choc powder or actual choC milk to substitute for the water - any advice welcomed thank you

    1. Hello Anon, I added 180ml of UHT chocolate milk instead of just plain water. The cake will be more chocolatey. Hope this helps :)

  46. Thank u for replying. Of the 180ml I used mainly water and substituted some of the water with milk- next time I will try your way. Tasted delicious anyway- thank you
