A Dessert by Veena ; My Guest #2...

Blogging certainly unites people from various parts of the world. In my 3.5 years of blogging, I came to know so many of them, who are tremendous cooks, kind readers, visitors and well-wishers. We somehow became good friends in the cyberworld! Sharing is caring, and it is very true especially among Food Bloggers!

Today, I'm happy to have Veena to guest post for me. I met her through her mouthwatering page, Great Secret Of Life. She is really sweet to readily participate in my Guest Post @ Love2cook Malaysia event. She has prepared a spoon-licking dessert for us and l'm sure you gonna love it as I did. I love puddings and I'm literally drooling at her pudding images!

Thank you dear Veena for such a lovely guest post and sharing a yummy dessert. Glad to have you as my guest and a friend ;)

Now, let's hear from Ms Veena.

Hi Sri,

I am Veena. My love for photography brought me to the blogging world. This world introduced me lot of good friends like you Sri. Your event is very different allows us to share the happiness in much bigger space.. I love every post of your space and the pictures..I get to know your space after few months of blogging. I always look up to your space for new innovative recipe and lovely pics. I am also inspired by your beautiful pics. It has been my pleasure to be your guest
I am from Temple city of Tamil Nadu Trichy. Moved to Tropical paradise Singapore. Now I live in Singapore for the past 19 years with 2 wonderful boys and my husband. They are officially my food testers and they are happy about it. I am trained IT person with passion for photography. Currently working as supply chain professional. I love to try out new recipe/ food. I am constantly looking for some healthy substitutes in all the food I cook. I started food blogging about a year ago and I find it is perfect platform to nature my interest. It is also given me opportunity to find lot of new friends like Sri.

I have used Agar Agar long time ago ( I couldn't even remember whether that was successful or failed attempt) After seeing yummy and beautiful dishes in many other blogs I decided try it out something basic and interesting recipe-milk pudding. Who say dieters cannot enjoy dessert?

AGAR-AGAR MILK PUDDING WITH CHIA SEEDS

  • Sugar - 20gram- 80gram ( I have used only 20 grams)
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Chia seeds - 2 tablespoons

Method :~

Soak Agar Agar for at least 30 mins in the water. Cook over low heat until the agar agar completely dissolved.

Boil Milk separately stirring in between. Add Sugar, vanila extract. Mix well.

Add this milk to cooked agar agar. Mix well. Add chia Seeds mix it well.  Remove from heat. Spoon the agar agar mixture into the empty sections of the moulds.

Let it cool completely in the fridge before serving.
