♥...A Bunch of Roses from Secubit Garam...♥

Yeeeeeehaaaaaa!!! I got roses...I got roses!!!

It came all the way from Terengganu...from Kak Nor @ Secubit Garam! She has one lovely blog with huge collection of finger lickin' good dishes! I knew Kak Nor even before I started blogging via Myresipi. We shared good rapport until now. I always consider her as my 'sifu'! Still remember I was asking so much questions about puddings. Well...I was a newbie then.

I mistakenly thought that I was following her blog all these while. Her blog was always in my bookmark list and also at my bloglist. Thus, I found out while checking some stuffs at my blog dashboard yesterday. I was listing down every blog that I follow and happened to find her blog was missing in my reading list! I jumped into her blog to click on follow, but what a miracle!!!! I happened to be her 1000th Follower!!!  That's so cool na...

In conjunction with this, she has gifted me a lovely bunch of roses! Thank You so much Kak Nor!!! I'm really happy to have known you in this cyberworld. You are such a kind person!

♥...Days & Nights at The Legend International Water Homes, Port Dickson...♥

Hi friends, how U all been? All good I hope...some might be very busy with Christmas tomorrow na. So here am wishing A Merry Christmas to all my blogger friends, readers including silent ones and fellow followers! Ho ho ho!!!

Well, today I'm gonna share some photos of our recent holiday at The Legend International Water Homes in Port Dickson. This was our second visit to the hotel. We first went there during my hubby's last break. And we decided to go again on his next break, which we did! So, what has been pulling us to the hotel again and again? There's no beach to swim around though the villas are on the sea.

It's actually the private pool every villa has! Yeah my kids just loved the pool, so do me and hubby. We've been inside the pool much longer than the bed! We spent our days and nights in the pool. It's so private that U'll forget the time!

We spent 3 days 2 nights at the the lower unit of Grand Pool Villa this time. Facilities were so satisfying with 2 king sized beds, dry kitchenette, big private pool, free wifi etc, etc!!! U may want to check out their website HERE to see more details. The food was okay!

Some pics to share!

For your kind information, Port Dickson is where I born! So the place is nothing new to me...hehehe! My one and only Grandma and maternal uncle families are living there still.

♥...Friday Food Review ~ Lemon Butter Cake...♥

Like I told you before, I simply love butter cakes...the more original is alway the best.

Of late, I've been baking butter cakes quite regular. Just trying out all the recipes I found on net. This also helps me to clear my loooooooong bookmark list.

Butter cake with a cup of tea or coffee is always perfect. And a Lemon Butter Cake is nothing the less. Gosh, I baked this cake twice already now! Tastes so yumm and delicious. Glad to see my family enjoyed the cake..me too!

Thanks a bunch to Sonia@Nasilemaklover for sharing her recipe. The original recipe has lemon glaze, but I skipped it. The cake alone is super duper yummy! Again, I did not wait for the cake to cool before slicing, that's why you can see lots of crumbs on the plate. Gonna bake this often for sure...

Sonia, please allow me to C&P the recipe here for future reference.

LEMON BUTTER CAKE by Sonia@Nasilemaklover...

Lemon glaze ( I skipped this)
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 lemon, extract juice
  • 1 lemon, finely grate the rind

Method :~

1. Beat the butter with the sugar until fluffy.
2. Add in the eggs one by one, then add in lemon rind, mixing well.
3. Fold in the flour and milk, combine well.
4. Pour the mixture into a loaf tin lined with greaseproof paper.
5. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C for 40mins.
6. Mix sugar and lemon juice and cook over low heat till sugar dissolved, add in lemon rind, set aside.
7. When cake done, remove cake from the oven and prick all over with a skewer.
8. Pour over the lemon glaze over the hot cake.
9. Ideally to leave cake to set overnight, to have better flavour.
